Selamat Hari Raya... selepas sekian lama tiada kesempatan untuk saya mem'update' fp ini.. dan dengan banyak pertanyaan dari pihak berkenaan mengapa saya tidak sempat mem'update'... bla2 bla2 bla.. dsb.... maka dipendekan cerita... masa itu sangat menceburui kita semua..

Atas permintaan mak saudara saya yang bertanya... bilalah i nak update fp i ni... maka dengan serta merta, i kenalah update ni... wau.. Kak Ya, Bukit Payung pun dah pandai buka fp ya.. cayalah..
ini adalah outing saya bersama SFCS entah keberapa dah... mungkin kali ke 6 atau 7 kut.. terima kasih kepada semua yang hadir..
apa yang paling best di pantai itu ialah pada gambar yang akhir sekali tu... ada kulit kerang berwarna putih diatas pantai hitam itu... cantik bukan ciptaanNya..

Kepada semua... yang hantar email, call dan sms bertanya bila Shukri hendak update fp ni.. sory.. hanya maaf dapat ku pohon..(maklumlah sudah lebih sebulan saya tidak update fp ini.. sabau aje lah ya..) Terima kasih kepada yang sama-sama menjayakan setiap kali outing saya ini...apa yang paling mengembirakan sfawani adalah dimana 3 dari 5 keping gambar yang tersiar didalam Berita Harian, Ikon Sabtu 14 Julai 2007 adalah dari outing pengantin saya seperti dibawah .. Terima kasih juga, di ucapkan kepada semua pengantin saya, Saiful Nang, Pencerita, Abu, Zuhrie, Ted, bla2 bla2 bla2 dsb... jika dipendekkan cerita.. Saya beli Berita Harian tersebut sebanyak 5 set, sampai terkejut mamat kios 24 hour tu... kih2 kih2 kih2

The bride and groom were given time to change into another set of clothes... when everything was ready.. they were both brought to the 'kitchen area' of the wedding.... all of the villagers gathered around to see.. the bride and groom undergoing 'mandi sapan' ... (If it was me... I would run away with the groom's family ... and save myself..)
After that, I thought it was finished... there was an unexpected turn of events.... the villagers had a special request... they wanted all the family members of the bride and groom to undergo 'mandi sapan'... time to escape.....................................
Sharifah's father (pak Abib) was so happy and grateful for the villagers help in making the wedding a success... Pak Abib graciously treated them to 3,000 sticks of sate on the third night of the wedding..

IN the kampung's wedding tradition.. every afternoon after the wedding function is over...'mandi sapan' will be held...
there isn't a choice or exclusion for 'mandi sapan' parents, grand parents,children, even the DJ.. they all had to bathe in 'the water'
"The water" : it didn't matter what kind of water it was... it could be piped water, cooking water, dinking water, syrup, orange juice, ice, used water from dishwashing, water used to wash your hands..., water used to wash the oily pots and pans, water used to wash rice and meat, water from the drain etc...
At the start of the wedding.. The host will start the lucky draw event followed by the parents, siblings, aunties and uncles of the bride and groom, etc......lucky draw number + hamper + 'mandi sapan'...................
When all of the 50 hampers have been given out... (1 hamper was worth around rm30-rm50..it was worth the bathing in the dirty water to get them)

Siti works as an officer in 'Pejabat Setiausaha Kerajaan (SUK) Negeri Sembilan' in Seremban, N9. (the distance between Kuala Lumpur and Seremban is about 68 km or 1 1/2 hours of travelling) but Siti's house is only 5 km from her office.
From what I heard...Siti's father is a successful contractor and also a logging tycoon.....just imagine...the whole house is air-conditioned from the living room all the way to the kitchen....very nice.....the wedding was held over the course of three days and two nights.
In the 5 to 6 wedding jobs that I've covered in Negeri Sembilan, this was by far the best wedding job due to a number of reasons:-
a) 'raja sehari dijunjung/di julang' beramai2
b) There was 'cak lempong'
c) There was also 'silat', 'tarian piring', a 'live band' etc.. (The DJ said.... the live band was specially brought over from KL......senawang.......)
d) There was a lucky draw + 'Mandi Sapan'.......
I'll give RM 10 to whoever can guess what 'Mandi Sapan' is.....answers must be submitted before 11 June 2007.

Yanti is the daughter of a well-to-do contractor......a lot of her father's friends who are also contractors came to her wedding..............Malay, Chinese, Indian contractors etc.......they were all very friendly.......a perfect example of the harmonius relations which exists in Malaysia's multi cultural society.....Yanti's wedding gifts were big....
Yanti's house is big (50x80 feet), a combination of two houses....there are 7 bedrooms in all....and 8 tents for the wedding...It was a wonderful wedding.....Yanti's family were very sporting.....but I couldn't upload all of the 'best' *pictures for my own 'safety'.....kih2 kih2 kih2

Elyana and her husband are both working at the same place. They both work in Pos Malaysia's Information Technology Department at Dayabumi, Kuala Lumpur.
Even though their house is situated only 10 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur, it is situated in a jungle-like environment. Each house is built on its own individual lot just like the houses in a traditional malay village (kampung).Eliana's house is situated in a hilly area with its own park and fish pond....it's a beautiful place.
